well what ive been up to is riding as much as i can and working alot at the shop while things are ramping up with Epicenter cycling. also tryin to not over work myself i just got over yet another sinus infection seems to be my thing with over training but atleast im motivated to get fit! anyways here are some pics and videos of riding that ive been doing!

well hey everyone its been a long time since ive updated this! anyways life has been 5th geared pinned everyday havent had time to sit down and type this out. I now work at Epicenter cycling Ive been working there for 7 months give or take and I LOVE it!!! going to Cabrillo for college and the end of my 2011 season came to a closing with no injuries and bad luck in my race runs all season long... go figure.. but hey thats racing keep hacking at it.
As for my goals for the 2012 season which is to focus on racing pro at more state local races so I can perfect my mental game for the us open and crankworx whistler... i wanna be fit strong healthy and smooth threw out the whole season! Anyways i wanted to thank all my sponsors for the support and its gonna be an exciting 2012 season coming up and cant wait till the first race!

Hey everyone havent updated you guys in awhile! anyways been super busy with work school and riding.. just trying to stay on top of my studies starting to feel the heat of homework, while working 28 hours a week. also balancing riding/ training. pretty much feeling strong and solid on the bike today with all the pump track riding and playing cat n mouse at UCSC with my buddies.

here are the races i will be attending:

school has started and being a computer science major has took its toll. the homework load is a little brutal but i only go too school one day out of the week but i go from 9am- 10pm on Wednesday. but then i just work and train the rest of the week. anyways thats pretty much what has been going on for the past week, and im now gettin a little worn out! but what ever BUILDING CHARACTER!

Drove down to Toro Park for the seconded race of the winter series had fun practicing and seeing some of my racing buddies, anyways my race run was ok but i went off the trail and bonked on the uphill that i see to just burn myself up but ya i need to grow a pair and start intensifying my interval training cause i wanna show everyone i can out pedal them! heres some pics more to come..

hey everyone havent updated this in awhile, anyways ive gotten back into my training routine for the past 3 weeks, and ive been riding ALOT BETTER feel more nimble and stronger!! also winter break is coming that means finals are coming up soon so im just trying to remain calm. Safeway in the deli has been super crazy with Thanksgiving weekend and im glad its over. anyways i have some things that im looking into for next season so we will see how they play out next month anyways thats about it for now..

well school has been outa control with homework and exams just tryin to stay on top of my grades. Plus working part time at Safeway that ive been working at for a year now i finally moved up from a Bagger to a Deli clerk so watch out world Hans is making the world Sandwiches!!! STOKED!! anyways Riding time has been like once or twice a week, which is just killing me. but ive been on top of my drills (Gene Hamilton the best Coach in the world!! ) but yeah pretty much this week Graeme Pitts is gonna come shred some Santa cruz Local trails so pics and vids will be up as time goes by anyways im just tryin to make as much money as i can, and ride when i can. so peace out

So summer has came to an end, ive been working as much as i can, hours are getting cut. paychecks have been nothing, ive been taking a break from my training routines cause i cant afford the gym and riding when i can. school started and im excited for this new semester. Im feeling less stress when it comes to me and punching out solid runs cause ive relaxed about my racing and ive been integrating myself with my friends and just being not such a freak about my training/riding...Ive found the fun back in riding! anyways that's all for now

ok after the disappointment of national champs of crashing and putting to much pressure on myself. now im focusing on trying to get myself to the point ware im making more money at safeway so i can help pay my way through college and my racing for next year. i have a 3.2 GPA at cabrillo college from last year and im on the verge upgrading to pro, i know ive havent been on top for a while but ive done all this work and it will pay off its just ive had some bad luck so hang tight with me.

Ok ware do i start i met up with Ben Craner and we punched out sum solid runs huck the ski jump and did the road gap underneath the ski lift at sol vista that was Day 1 then DAy 2 at sol vista was interesting i hit the hip on Drifter and i came up a bit short and bucked over the bars but i came through all right Ben now calls the hip the Hanzinator, and right after that i hit up the 3 amigo jumps but they took out the first one so now there the 2 amigos, they were super easy and sick, had a rad time riding with the canfeild crew. and today i did 5 runs at winter park on trestle downhill trying to get sum good solid endurance riding felt good. and now im resting for the next 2 days before nationals start, anyways ill keep ya guys updated so later peeps.

Super stoked long drive but totally worth it!! Got to ride Winter park resort i love the trails there super fun but man was i stiff and just a little out of breath going from ocean level to 9,000 feet its a major change for me i feel light headed by just walking up a flight of stairs anyways i felt good ridng in sum sections but i will improve my confidence the more i get used to the elevation. here are some pics:

Got my bike all dialed and ready to go for USA Champs next month, got some new wheels from WTB thanks to Mike Clifford and a Saint crank-set from Epicenter cycling thanks to Shaun Wilson, and got my fork serviced with some new seals and oil and last but not least Handle bars from Answer Pro-Taper 780mm bars feels super solid. anyways my bike is now running good now cant wait to shred Lip-skidder at sol vista.

Got a pair of WTB laser Disc Freeride from Mike Clifford at WTB who hooked me up super stoked on them. got new seals and oil tried to do my fork maintenance myself but its harder than i thought so i took my bike to my local shop Epicenter cycling so they will get my fork already to go.
Now Riding wise did some XC with some of my friends i really pushed myself and i feel great cant wait to do sum runs and see how i do.

Anyways National champs is around the corner and Reservations have been made!

Man has it been busy, with reservations for sol vista, to working at safeway, to getting my bike ready for next month, and also figuring out how to smooth out my riding so i can be more in control instead of going balls out, feeling pretty solid, But now im learning to be more mature with relaxing cause i beat my old time on a local DH trail by 2 seconds which im pretty stoked about! anyways im on my summer break, glad schools over and im ready for that Gold medal!

hey everyone, just wanted to say i rode for the first time since my knee injury 6 weeks ago and i did some xc. Which felt great, then the next day i put on my leatt and full-face and did sum runs on my local DH trail which is kinda mellow but it was amazing felt almost normal like i never was off the bike! anyways my recovery is going extremely well and i cant wait for national champs to get here. but thats all on my end, hope all is well with everyone.

hey everyone Ive been injured for the past month due to a unexpected Knee Dislocation which happened at sea otter, cause Ive been over training and dealing with lots of stress with Mid terms, work and a female which is getting the the best of me but im not quieting. i will be ready for USA Champs which i qualified for in CAT 1 19-24 so i will see you guys out there!

hey guys had a rad weekend this last week! turned 19 and went down to Santa Barbra for sum shredding the gnar on the Rocks with my friends like Max and his dad Misha Kaurt, and International racer Graeme Pitts we all had a good time riding in So-Cal and camping next to an Ant Farm. anyways we came back on Sunday afternoon to Santa Cruz and Graeme and i did a Photo shoot with Jousha Kern which is a nice kid and excellent photographer and ill have shots up here soon so stayed tuned!

Hey everyone had a great time came to fontana, to guage ware im at. so all things considered i did horrible 44th outa 50 in pro as far as fitness i bonked out half way through ware i lost it and right before the wall i came to a complete stop almost crashing but lucky didnt so yeah i need to work on sprints and my well man strength with bursts i felt ok at the top but there is a serious needed work for me! Im bummed about it but not discouraged its the first race of the season for me and i had a rough past 7 months! so ill get at the top soon! trust me!

Day 1 was epic loving the track pretty tech as far as the winter series tracks goes! Did some runs with a good friend Mitch Ropeleto it was rad seeing and doin some runs with him! anyways im feeling pretty good and confident on the track finally got a new or "used" shifter from Mr. Ropeleto (mitch's Dad) so got my bike dialed and isshifting well! So im stoked and cant wait for whats in store for tomarrow, anyways i gotta get some rest! Night.

Practice that starts tomarrow. stoked too ride fontana in the rain always wanted to do that! anyways long drive in the rain left around 5:30 am and got here at 12 pm, glad to be able to stretch and walk around! had some denny's for lunch and now for some good ol' shut eye over an out.

hey everyone ive been super busy working at Safeway and im pretty exhausted with this weather here which has been raining and stormy for the past few weeks and making me wanna ride so bad! i really want to get out there in the mud and play but Ive just been working as much as i can so i can pay for my races and training when im not tired from bagging groceries and i would ride on the weekends when my mom could shuttle me but anyways im taking the day off to gain back some of my sanity!

hey guys i haven't posted up a update in a while! anyways im a 100% healed from my kidney injury that happened 4 weeks ago while training with some of my So-Cal friends! so what Ive been doing for the past 2 weeks since now im back and active ive been Working like crazy at Safeway and got back into my training routine. I ran twice and went to the Gym once last week and rode twice on a new trail that was built at our local spot. Anyways Im feeling alot better bout myself and i just got back from a big 4 or 5mile run on the beach during the torrential weather here in aptos. Also if theres a break in storm ether today or tomorrow im gonna go do some drills so i can get my Gene Hamilton techniques down so i better get back to my chores so later peeps!

Thanks to Ryan Quin, Brett , Preston Moore and Logan Kemp for coming up to my house to ride here in santa cruz i crashed out pretty hard and rode the rest of the day but later found out that i ripped my kidney, and have a fat bruise and i spent 2 days in the hospital which sucked anyways ill be off the bike in 3 1/2 weeks no worries ill stay in shape by swimming don't count me out!

when i was in the hospital for 10 days during the middle of the season i came down with crones disease and ive been conditioning my body and tryin to get what i lost which was my muscles and endurance since the mid of june when i got out but anyways i got scoped a couple weeks ago and they took pictures of my colon and found out that i have massive scaring and im lucky to be alive and only a quarter sized patch is pink and healthy and the rest is scars! anyways im off the steroids and there lowering me off the other pills i have to take! SO im STOKED anyways im feeling great i have a new job and ive been riding as much as i can and cant wait for the 2010 season to start!

hey my first race update at cccx and had a fun weekend yet again!the course was a test of fitness of which i lack right now still struggling to find a balance in my body i got 13th in pro and 4th in chainless! im very frustrated that my body is taking so long to get back into shape! I guess i gotta keep conditioning cause i already got the skill, if you have seen me on the track!
